Here at Horde of The Book Dragon, I will be sharing my reviews on not only some of the newest/most anticipated books, but I will also be re-reading some of the books we all grew up with! I will be covering a wide range of fantasy, romance, young adult/new adult, & everything in between (just please do not expect any self-help or non-fiction book reviews. Editing to say I forgot to mention the man who started it all, the man whose books made me the reader I am. My deepest apologies to Uncle Rick Riordan, I'm not sure how to get him to notice this post but two names have been mentioned to me that I need his opinion on. Those names are Percy and Nico. So how do I get the attention of the almighty Uncle Rick? @disneyplus do you happen to know how I may achieve this?!

Not directly book related, BUT the library has officially hired a librarian! We rescued this little guy today and even with his small injuries he is the absolute SWEETEST hedgie I've ever had!

I am still trying to figure out the perfect name for him, so I would love some ideas from all of you book lovers and authors on my page! What is the perfect name for a librarian hedgehog who is rocking the perfect smoky eye?!

I will go out of my way to support a locally owned or indie bookstore but that passion of support just SKYROCKETED! Out of every copy of Alchemised I have so far the only one that has NOT arrived damaged in some way was my preorder from @thegildedpagebookstore their packaging was AMAZING! Plus they used a great quality box (as a millennial who keeps every "good box" I am authorized to make this statement)! I will be ordering every book I can from them, I will eventually make it to the store physically as they are located in Florida and I am all the way in North Carolina. After a little over twelve total hours in the car I am FINALLY home, but it was absolutely worth all of the traffic and time in the car. Getting to meet @abigailowenauthor @maicorland and @brigidkemmerer today in person at @bnfairfax was AMAZING! All of these incredible authors were the absolute sweetest! Brigid Kemmer you are an absolute rockstar and I will always sing the praises of the Defy The Night trilogy as it is PERFECTION! And words cannot describe the level of starstruck I was when getting to talk to Abigail Owen about the eARC of The Things Gods Break that I had the amazing privilege of reading and being able to get to ask how parts of it were made possible! All of these amazing women have created some of the most intricate and detailed worlds that I will forever turn to as an escape, thank you all so much for the books and characters you have all brought to life. After working nonstop on this I am so excited to share my #fanart for @senlinyuwrites upcoming release #Alchemised I have been following their writing for literal YEARS! I remember reading #manacled when it was first published online and I have been OBSESSED ever since. After learning that this amazing author was also chronically ill just fueled my fire to follow my passions. If they could do it and create such an amazing story then why should I let my illnesses stop me? I tried so hard to qualify for an ARC of Alchemised after I learned it was being traditionally published but I either didn't have enough of a platform or I was unanswered. But that didn't stop me from pre-ordering five different versions of this amazing book!
